Black and brown all over — that’s my theme for fall. Or one of them, at least. There was a time years ago when wearing black and brown together was thought of as less than stylish, but I’m happy to report those days are long gone. Two of the darkest, neutral colors have never looked better together, as evidenced by this head-to-toe black and brown look I put together from Nordstrom.

If you haven’t noticed, black leather pants are the thing this fall and winter season, and if you don’t already own a pair, I highly recommend the AGOLDE black leather pants from Nordstrom. The silhouette is exactly like my favorite jeans by them (‘90s pinch waist), and they are beyond comfortable. I also love how you can dress them up or down depending on the rest of your look!

While I tend to lean toward camel coats during colder months, every coat collection needs a womens black belted coat like this one by Sam Edelman. To complete this black coat outfit, I paired the pants and tie-waist coat with a gorgeous, chocolate brown turtleneck. What I ended up with was a winter leather pants outfit all from Nordstrom and ready-to-wear as soon as temperatures drop!

This is such a smart look that you can wear to work and all-day meetings comfortably and that transitions easily into a cozy happy hour (somewhere dark and with a fire, preferably).
