One of my absolute favorite looks for wintertime and the holidays is an all-black ensemble that’s both chic and effortless. When you need a break from some of your fancier holiday looks, but don't know where to start, Nordstrom has you covered for all your holiday occasions.
When wearing a monochrome outfit, I always try to mix in different textures and elements to avoid the look from feeling flat. And during the fall/winter months, there are so many gorgeous textures that pair so well together. Take for example a beautiful velvet blazer back to leather pants. It's dressier than day-to-day jeans and blazers, but still effortless and cool. I added this embellished heels and a sparkle bag for added holiday fun.
To me, this look is perfect for the holiday season without being at all over-the-top. There are endless ways to style a black velvet blazer in the winter, but this look is definitely up there for me. Put on your favorite red lip and some of your best silver jewelry pieces, and this look is holiday chic personified!
