Exploring Nashville
Dinner at Sperry’s. I have been to both the Nashville and Franklin location and they are an exact copy paste. One of Nasvhille’s most well-known spots. They are famous for their salad bar, but I’m only now trying to come around to salads haha. I love the steak frites and crab cakes!
Dinner at Epice: Sister restaurant to Santo and Lola two of my favorite spots.
Dinner at Fonda: This is where the old Josephine used to be.
Dinner at Soho House: I found my new favorite burger. Insert drooling mouth.
Dinner at Culaccino: modern Italian at its finest. Grab a seat at the bar and make sure to get the lamb pizza.
Dinner at 55 South. Their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is one of my faves if you sub the white bread for a bun.
Lunch at Restoration Hardware: between the atmosphere & the food, I can’t decide which I love more. But maybe the food bc those truffle fries…
Brunch at Mere Bulles. Its a buffet so come hungry! Don’t miss their famous chocolate fountain.
What I'm Watching / Reading / Listening to
Watching: We finished The Gentlemen (Netflix) & Sugar (Apple TV+) and loved them both. Started Dark Matter (Apple TV+) and its SO good. I still need to finish Palm Royal (Apple TV+). I know I’m behind, no spoilers. I’m watching this one solo & haven’t had as much time. For a fun easy watch, Will has gotten me hooked on Community. Its older, but he’s watched a few times and loves it and now I do too!
Reading: I ordered this book after listening to Sara & Erin Foster’s podcast interviewing Nola Beldegreen on ‘How to Be Confident in Your Own Voice’. Excited to lay by the pool and read it this month. Its on Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential books of all time.
Listening: Arielle Lorre’s podcast The Blonde Files has been one of my favorites for years; well she just started her own Patreon account and I’m having a lot of fun listening to more candid conversations there.
Recent Travels
I cannot believe it but this is the first time I haven’t traveled all month in I don’t even know how long! I actually had to go back and look at my calendar to see if that was true! It’s probably time to get something on the books before I go stir crazy! But in all honesty, its been so nice staying in one place for a bit. I’ll definitely be going back to Dallas soon and Will and I would like to try and make Telluride happen this summer.
